About the Crystal Growth Summer School

Participants of this summer school will attend a series of lectures on theoretical and experimental aspects of crystal growth of oxides, intermetallics and semiconductor materials.  Attendees will have a unique opportunity to take part in specifically designed, hands-on demonstrations and experiments related to crystal growth, epitaxy and sample preparation.

Program

BIMR 2012 Summer School - Modern Methods of Crystal Growth is a 3 day workshop format.  The morning will consist of guest lecturers speaking on topics of theoretical and experimental aspects of crystal growth of oxides, intermetallics and semiconductors materials.  The afternoon attendees will have a unique opportunity to take part in specifically designed, hands-on demonstrations and experiments related to crystal growth, epitaxy and sample preparation.
